Why BlockSquad
Fast, and it's measured
Median duration observed over 30 days, all pairs combined. Every route shows its own estimate before you send.
No KYC, literally
No email, no phone, no document, no mandatory connection. A destination address is all we ask for.
Fees broken down, line by line
Router fee, destination gas and BlockSquad's fee shown separately before you send. No hidden margin in the rate.
Two routes
Two routes compared, yours chosen
Every quote queries a smart-contract route and a no-wallet route, and shows both
You see the amount received, the estimated time and the fees before confirming anything
Non-custodial: your funds never pass through a BlockSquad wallet
Routes are ranked by amount received, never by our own take
Q&A
Questions people actually ask
What does a transfer cost?
It depends on the route. Before you confirm, the receipt itemises the fees, then a total shown both in dollars and as a percentage of what you're sending. On the no-wallet route the provider takes 2% and BlockSquad takes 0.5%, both already inside the displayed rate rather than added on top. On the wallet route the router quotes gas, its own fee and ours as separate lines. Either way the total is what you send minus what you receive, so you can check it against the two amounts on screen.
Do I have to connect a wallet?
No. Connecting is optional and only ever adds convenience — it shows your balance and fills in your address. The no-wallet route works entirely without it: you send from any wallet or exchange to a deposit address. For Bitcoin and other non-EVM assets it's the only mode there is.
Who actually moves my funds?
A specialised third-party router, chosen per route. BlockSquad holds no liquidity and executes nothing itself — your funds never sit in a BlockSquad wallet. Which route type is running is shown before you send and kept in your history afterwards.
How long does it take?
The median across all pairs over the recent window is shown on this page, computed from settled transfers rather than estimated. Individual routes vary: a same-ecosystem swap can settle in under a minute, while anything waiting on Bitcoin confirmations takes longer.
I sent to the wrong address. Can you refund me?
No, and neither can anyone else — a confirmed on-chain transfer is final. We check the address format against the destination network before letting you continue, which catches most mistakes but not all of them. If the route itself fails, which is a different thing, the router normally refunds on the origin chain.
